Full Groom

What to expect from a full dog groom

The full works, the whole shabang. Come back to a sparkling clean, smart looking, lovely smelling, best friend.

A full groom is our top-to-tail treatment. Your dog is bathed in one of our two hydrobaths, dried without a cage or cabinet dryer in sight, then clipped and styled the way you like them.

Every groom is one to one, so your dog has a groomer's full attention from start to finish and is never left waiting. Our core services can be tailored to suit your exact requirements, and we are more than happy to accommodate bespoke requests.

How often does my dog need a full groom?

It depends on the coat. Dogs whose hair keeps on growing, like poodles, doodles, shih tzus and bichons, need regular full grooms to stay comfortable and free of knots. Dogs with shorter coats may only need one now and then.

Ask us at your dog's appointment and we'll suggest a routine that suits them. A bath only, face tidy or paw tidy in between can keep them looking smart for longer.

At home, a regular brush right down to the skin is the best way to stop knots forming between visits.

How much does a full groom cost?

Do you use cage dryers?

Never. The Groom Pad is completely free from cage and cabinet dryers.

No. We always work one to one and never overbook or rush appointments, so your dog isn't kept waiting around.

Can I ask for a particular style?

Of course. Our core services can be tailored to suit your exact requirements, and we are more than happy to accommodate bespoke requests.

How can I get my dog ready for a full groom?

A walk and a chance to go to the toilet before you arrive helps them settle. If your dog has any lumps, sore spots or health conditions, or gets worried about anything in particular, let us know when you book.
